Florence and the Machine release new song “Ship to Wreck”

Florence and the Machine are releasing yet another single track from their soon to be launched album “How Big How Blue How Beautiful“, which will be coming out in early June. This track is called “Ship to Wreck“, and adds yet another dimension to the multifaceted artists’ collection of works.

It’s a somewhat soul searching and rough track seeming to deal with inner emotional troubles and the desire to find a way out, which is expressed through her powerful voice and lyrical style. Lots of guitars in this one, which is a direction many fans have openly lobbied for on her SoundCloud and web forums, so it will be interesting to see what the rest of the album has in store.  This album was done with the red hot producer Markus Dravs, who’s past collaborations include work with Björk, Coldplay, and Arcade Fire, among other notables. His influence might be the instigator for more guitars, we’ll just have to wait and see.
